Trip itinerary

Day One
08h30 you will be met at Kazungula border/ferry by your guide who welcome you and give you a short brief on safety and your transfer to Kasane. He will escort you through Botswana Immigration border formalities. After a 15 minute road trip, you will be dropped off at Chobe Safari lodge for the commencement of your 3 hour boat cruise on the Chobe River. A short briefing will follow on some pertinent facts such as safety, local flora and Fauna, some regional information and you will be required to fill in an indemnity form and government park registration form. The cruise will set off at 09h30 into the Chobe National park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as one gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and of course scores of elephant and Cape Buffalo as they their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends back in Kasane at 12h30. Your guide will escort you to your table for buffet lunch. After lunch at 13h30, there will be a last minute shopping slot for “ladies” please go through all your personal effects and ensure you have packed your safari gear as recommended. You will set off on your game drive into the Chobe National park, where, before entry, your guide will give you another safety talk. Your game drive will take you through the banks of the Chobe River where one can see the beautiful giants of the land taking a leisurely swim to cool off or crossing over to Impalila Island where there is abundant food. After seeing the beautiful Chobe sun setting on the horizon, you will be driven to your camp where you will be given a welcome drink upon arrival. A quick warm shower will liven you up and get you ready for the sumptuous bush dinner cooked on site. A glass of wine is included with your meal. You will be entertained by never ending fire place stories form our staff until you retire to bed at 10pm

Day Two
Your guide will wake you up at 05h00 with warm water being poured into their basins and a friendly Botswana “Dumela” (good day). After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a continental breakfast, you will start your game drive as you drive towards the park exit. Big cats such as lion and leopard are a familiar site at this time of the day. You will be dropped off at your respective borders by 09h00.
